Our Courses
Growth for Workplace Success
The Growth for Workplace Success is a skills programme the has been designed to combine personal development and the skills needed for success in the workplace. The rationale behind the development of the Growth for Workplace Success is based upon the following realisation: “In order to be productive on the job, you have to be productive off the job.” If things are not right in the lives of employees, it will eventually upset their performance in the workplace.
The Growth for Workplace Success skills programme is based on the QCTO Workplace Preparation Skills Programme. The objective of this course is not just to provide successfully delegates with a certificate. Rather, it has been developed to provide an ongoing reference guide for each employee to continue on their journey of personal development to facilitate career growth.
Learning and Development Facilitator
The Learning and Development Facilitator skills programme has been developed to replace the old unit standard 117871, Facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies, and is a part qualification taken from the Occupational Certificate: Training and Development Practitioner, NQF Level 5, Credits 190.
The Learning and Development Facilitator skills programme consists of the following components:
- The statutory learning and development environment
- Facilitation of learning in occupational contexts
- Facilitate different methodologies, training styles and techniques with an occupational learning context
- Facilitate an occupational learning session
Assessment Practitioner
Replacing the old unit standard 115753, Conduct outcomes-based assessment, the Assessment Practitioner skills programme is a part qualification taken from the Occupational Certificate: Training and Development Practitioner, NQF Level 5, Credits 190.
The Assessment Practitioner skills programmes consists of the following components:
• Assessment principles and practices
• Plan and conduct the assessment of learner competencies
• Conduct assessments of learner competence
The Assessment Practitioner skills programme is registered on NQF level 5, and it worth 20 credits.
Workwise: Skills for Work Success
The Workwise: Skills for Workplace Success is a non-accredited learning programme that has been developed to provide matriculants and unemployed youth with the knowledge and skills needed when searching for a job, and how to behave in a professional manner in the workplace once they get a job.
It also includes a personal development component that stresses the importance of thinking and how the thoughts of an individual’s contributes to the quality of their lives.
